James Black - CMYK

Whoa. This track is a dizzy pile of R&B sampling dubstep that smears every sound in an bright cloak of sonic trickery. Stutter-y pitch shifted vocals a la Burial drive the tune but in contrast to his mysterious, rainy-sounding aesthetic, CMYK is pure smiles. It’s a celebration of sound and nothing sounds quite like it.
