What the FUCK happened to aging gracefully!? Is there anything more discouraging than listening to some baby boomer sing about her dry snatch and the fact that she has turned into an irritable old hag? There is something to be said about not taking all the weird things that happen as you get older too seriously but my GOD can we not have the slightest bit of discretion here? My adorable grandma continued to go on power walks, wear nice clothes to dinner, wear make up, not bitch about menopause and keep a general air of good old fashioned decency about herself her entire 85 year long life. She would hardly ever be seen in sweatpants let alone write songs with lines like “every time I sneeze I frickin’ pee my pants.”
I implore my generation: do not let this happen to us.
